happy mail

i'm sure that at some point i may have possibly subtly alluded to the fact that i enjoy receiving things in the mail. i think it's my favourite thing ever aside from bear and eating chips (i'm off the wagon friends). i really don't care what it is, as long as it's not from the government or someone wanting money. sometimes i get fun presents in the mail and i go apeshit. seriously, once my gramma sent me a random green tea towel in the mail and i felt like it was the best thing that ever happened. that being said, i'm pretty sure something hemorrhaged when i discovered the 13 ounces or less project over on giver's log.

apparently you're allowed to send unpackaged items through the US mail as long as they weigh 13 ounces or less.

i'm dying. the easter eggs??? come on, that's god damn brilliant.

remember my ill-fated loot bag project? why do all my ideas crash and burn? probably because 100 percent of people i know would rather gouge their own eyes out with a screwdriver than buy a damn stamp. SO i'm in the market for some new pen pals. if you want in on this action please leave me your email address in the comments (let me know if you don't want your comment published) and we can get this party started! do people still say "let's get this party started"? if not, what is the non lame equivalent?

also, you should really send some mail because the post office is dying. like, for real. when canada post went on strike this summer i was very stressed out and had to eat many chips. WRITE MORE LETTERS. (and send them to me.)
