marvelous cupcakes for a birthday bear
tomorrow is my sweet baby bear's 27th birthday, and to celebrate he requested cherry garcia cupcakes! these are the very same ones i made for him when our love was new, but this time i used mini chocolate chips, which worked out a lot better. there was a minor snafu when i discovered AFTER baking that there were PITS in a few of the the maraschino cherries that were not evident to me even after magic bulleting them and folding them into the batter. son of a bitch. for future reference: when the jar says "may contain pits" it probably means "DOES contain pits".
