my ontario license was really the only canadian thing left in my wallet (except for my shopper's optimum card - i got mad points on that bitch yo), so it was kind of bittersweet having to surrender it today.
unlike the mysterious process of ontario license manufacture (it comes in the mail a bajillion years later) i was magically given my new license on the spot. there was also a MIRROR at the photo station, and instead of the "i guess i'll see how hideous my picture is when i get my license in the mail" deal you get in ontario, they allowed retakes! never in my life have i seen such wonders! my picture is basically ridiculous, but there was a line behind me and i'm not an asshole.
this year i've had my picture taken for government documents seven times. wtf.

I got a retake in Ontario...only cause after the first shot the lady said "ugh, let's do that again. this time, stand further back."
i've been waiting for a certain canadian goverment card for oh... 7 MONTHS NOW.
what the fuck are those cards made of? baby seal hairs and saffron? why does it take so long to get them.
